In the morning, with his 50 plus harmonicas, penny whistles, jaw harps and percussion instruments, Gérald had all of us enthralled during his ‘spectacle’ or concert. His music took us from the prairies to the great white north. As the stories and music unfolded, the audience became involved in the creation of sound and rhythms. In the afternoon, he facilitated cartooning workshops with the Grade 4/5 students on how to create and illustrate the characters and scenery from the concert. This day would not be possible without a Canadian Parents for French Chapter in Dauphin. Thank you to École Macneill Parent Partnership Council for sponsoring this event.
