The staff and students at Smith-Jackson Ukrainian Bilingual School are asking all students and staff, in all 16 schools across Mountain View School Division, as well as, all division office staff, bus drivers, maintenance staff etc. to wear blue and/yellow or your Ukrainian vyshyvankas (Ukrainian shirts/blouses) on Monday, March 7th.
Help Smith-Jackson School fundraise for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine by bringing a twoonie that day to donate. There are currently 3085 students and 548 divisional staff in MVSD. We have the potential of raising over $7000.00 to support these humanitarian efforts. The funds will be donated through the Canadahelps.org site.
