In response to the August 15th MB Education announcement on cell phones, MVSD has published a new webpage outlining the use of cell phones and personal devices in our buildings. MVSD is committed to providing a holistic approach to education surrounding device use and management that includes students, staff, and caregivers. This includes:
- Staff training and support in the implementation of applicable ICT curriculums, continuums, or policies as outlined by Manitoba Education
- Student support in personal device management and educational implementation
- Caregiver sessions and resources on the role of personal devices in student success and well-being
